Barbara, You are correct, the audience is God Himself. I, the preacher, often remind myself before I speak, I am speakong to an audience of ONE. Those in the congragation are priviled to listen in. This helps me keep my attention on our Lord, not those in the crowd. thank you for this great reminder.
