Let’s explore two reasons for regaining a good night sleep

Remember how well you slept as a child?

First is the prayer we prayed when we were young. The second will amaze you on what God does for us as we sleep.

I’ll unpack these two to put a stop to sleepless nights.

Sleeping well through the night has more to do with your thoughts than your pillow

In peace, I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord will keep me safe. (Psalms 4:8, NLT).

The above verse prompted Joseph Addison to pen these words in 1711, over three hundred years ago. We still say this night-time prayer.

Here’s my story; see if you can relate

Our church had permission from the county government to use the courthouse steps. The steps became our platform to preach the Gospel.

Barbara, You are correct, the audience is God Himself. I, the preacher, often remind myself before I speak, I am speakong to an audience of ONE. Those in the congragation are priviled to listen in.
